Paragorgia papillata Li, Zhan & Xu, 2021

Type locality: M6 Seamount, 858m depth.

Holotype: MBM286408 collected from M6 seamount at the station FX-Dive 219 (10°06.78′N, 140°14.53′E) with the water depth of 858 m (temperature 5.04 °C; salinity 34.5) on 7 June 2019, rocky bottom.

Etymology: The Latin adjective papillata (papillate) refers to the autozooid shape of the species.
