Name[edit]

Palimphemus seymourensis Schwarzhans et al., 2016

  • Holotype: NRM-PZ P.15973.
  • Paratypes: NRM-PZ P.15974-15975 (6).

Type locality: Telm 5 unit; ‘Natica horizon’, Cucullea I member, La Meseta Formation, late Ypresian, early Eocene. Site IAA 2/95, Seymour Island, Antarctica.

Etymology: Named after the type locality Seymour Island in Antarctica.
