- Syntypes: TM 17689–91, 17693–17695, MCZ R-46817 (formerly TM 17692), collected by V. FitzSimons on 31 July 1937, and TM 17722 collected by V. FitzSimons in August 1937.
- Type locality: “Aus”, “8 miles west of Aus, Great Namaqualand, South West Africa” and “Konkiep”.
