Etymology: named after Jean Baptiste François René Koehler.

  • Ophiomelina being a synonm of Ophiacantha, Ophiomelina moniliformis (Koehler, 1904) becomes a junior homonym of Ophiacantha moniliformis Lütken & Mortensen, 1899 and is replaced by Ophiacantha renekoehleri.
