Holotype: FSM 155377, by original designation.

Type locality: 2.5 km NNE of La Fortuna (15° 25.965′ N, 87° 18.556′ W), 1550 m, Refugio de Vida Silvestre Texiguat, Departamento de Yoro, Honduras.
