Holotype: BMNH 1946.1.2.43, ♀ without skull, collected by J. Richardson.

Type locality: “N.-West Australia”, restricted to “Buffalo Creek, Northern Territory, Australia (about 12º40'S and 131º29'E)” by Murphy (2011: 232).
