Holotype: BMNH 50.1829, adult ♂, skin and skull. [Coll. F. Shaw Mayer (nº 1097), 30 June 1947]

Type locality: “Tomba, SW slopes Hagen Range, Central Highlands, NE. New Guinea, 8,200 ft.”
