Name[edit]

Megalastrum palmense (Rosenst.) A.R.Sm. & R.C.Moran, 1988 ("1987")

  • Type locality: "La Palma", San José, Costa Rica
  • Lectotype: Brade & C. Brade 215 (UC; isolectotypes BM, GH, NY)
    • Designated by Moran & Prado (2010:175), they further note (Moran & Prado, 2010:178) that the syntype cited in the protologue, Brade 215a, could not be located, but that specimen numbered "215" are annotated in Rosenstock's hand, hence the designation.
