Please move or redirect

Please change MediaWiki:Mainpage/es to "Portada". The text "Página principal" is both Spanish and Portuguese, but Página principal contains the Portuguese main page. The Spanish one is at Portada. -- Platonides (talk) 22:52, 8 May 2016 (UTC)

That is probably not necessary, since the MediaWiki:Mainpage page is no longer used – indeed it was even deleted, way back in 2007. Hence the sub-page MediaWiki:Mainpage/es isn't in use either, and with the exception of this talk page there are no pages linking to it. The present equivalent to "MediaWiki:Mainpage" is Main Page. There you will find a link to the Spanish main page Portada, and to all other available language versions as well. Logged in users can set their language preferences to any of those languages in their user settings, and will then be automatically redirected to their preferred language version, whenever they click a link to Main Page or any other translated page.
