- Holotype: ZSM 54/2005, adult ♀, collected by the NGO "Mitsinjo" and its president Rainer Dolch on 23-26 February 2005.
- Type locality: “near Andasibe (=Perinet), 18°56.169'S, 48°24.734'E, 939 m elevation, central eastern Madagascar”.
