Macropharyngodon choati Randall, 1978

Holotype: BPBM 14359. [Paratypes: AMS I.15468-001 (1), I.16635-001 (1), I.16862-001 (1), I.17654-002 (1), ?I.18568-001 (1); BMNH 1976.3.16.1 (1); BPBM 13444 (1); USNM 215259 (1)].

Type locality: Outside reef off western side of One Tree Island, 23°30'S, 152°05'E, Capricorn Group, Great Barrier Reef, Australia, depth 90 feet.
