Type locality: 24 53'N, 122 13'E, Nan-fang-ao, Su-ao, northeastern Taiwan, northwestern Pacific, 280–310 meters.

Etymology: named in honor of Dr. Hiromitsu Endo, Professor of Faculty of Science, Kochi University
