- Holotype: BPBM 16441 (field tag FK 6759), adult ♂, collected by F. Kraus on 1 October 2002.
- Type locality: “N of Saidowai, 9°57.780′S, 150°57.248′E, 0-5 m elevation, northeast end of Sewa Bay, Normanby Island, d'Entrecasteaux Archipelago, Milne Bay Province, Papua New Guinea”.
- Paratypes (n=3): BPBM 16438, adult ♂, Normanby Island, d'Entrecasteaux Archipelago, Milne Bay Province, Papua New Guinea, BPBM 16439, adult ♂, N of Saidowai, 9°57.5819′S, 150°57.1259′E, 5–10 m elevation and PNGNM 23883, adult ♂, same data as holotype.
