- Holotype: ZRC 2.6918, juvenile of unknown sex, collected by Evan Quah on 13 June 2010.
- Type locality: “Penang Hill, Pulau Pinang, Penang (N.05.43825°, E100.28200°, ±5m; 308m asl.), Peninsular Malaysia”.
