Name[edit]

Lethenteron reissneri (Dybowski, 1869)

  • Syntypes: BMNH 1971.7.19.37 [ex MGH] (1) Onon R.; NMW 78112 (2); ZMB 7118 (1).

Type locality: Onon and Ingoda rivers, Amur River basin, Russia.

Etymology: Patronym not identified, possibly in honor of Estonian anatomist Ernst Reissner (1824-1878)[1].
