• Holotype: SAMC-A098458, collected by R. Payne and I. Malick on R/V Ellen Khuzwayo (Voyage 151) on 28 February 2016.
• Type locality: “Amathole region, 32.6674°S, 28.4269°E – 32.6640°S, 28.4309°E, Eastern Cape, South Africa, 28 m depth”.
