Type locality: Australia, Northern Territory, Mary River National Park, Bryan Creek Monsoon Rainforest Patch, 12°39’40”S, 131°46’55”E.

Holotype: NTM. male ♂. 25.IV.2008. legit K. Edward & P. Cullen. NTM A004398, PBI-OON 00005889.
