Holotype: BSMP R1. [destroyed during WWII]

Neotype: CAS-SU 21758. [designated by Taylor (1965: 286)]

Type locality: “Malatgan River, Palawan, P. I. [=Philippines]”, redesigned to neotype designation to “Iwahig, Palawan”, Philippines, by Taylor (1965: 286).
