• Holotype: SAMC-A099310, collected by R. Payne and I. Malick on R/V Ellen Khuzwayo (Voyage 159) on 3 September 2016.
• Type locality: “Amathole region, 33.1632°S, 27.7746°E – 33.1625°S, 27.7753°E, Eastern Cape, South Africa, 36 m depth”.
