[edit]- Halicmetus reticulatus H. M. Smith & L. Radclidde, 1912
- Type locality: Off Sombrero Island, southern Luzon Island, 13°48'45"N, 120°41'51"E, Philippines, Albatross station 5118, depth 159 fathoms.
- Distribution: known from the western Pacific localities, including southern Japan, Taiwan, and eastern Australia at depths of 280-1000 m.
- Etymology. From the reticulated color pattern on dorsal surface.
