- Holotype: GXNHM 200809044, adult ♂, collected by Yunming Mo, Wei Zhang and Shichu Zhou on 7 September 2008.
- Type locality: “Nonggang National Nature Reserve, Longzhou country [sic], Guangxi, China, near the Sino-Vietnam border (22.5233° N, 106.9523° E, alt. 216 m a.s.l)”.

- Type locality: “karst forest near Ban Coong Village (22°43.216′ N, 106°39.437′ E), Duc Quang Commune, Ha Lang District, Cao Bang Province, Vietnam, at an elevation of ca. 480 m”.
