• Holotype: "Fixierte Probe des Stammes SAG 73.80" Sammlung KFA, IBT-3".
• Isotypes: B, BM, H, U.
• "Isolate: SAG 73.80, UTEX 932. Verbreitung: Deutschland, ltalien (?), USA. SAG 73.80 unterscheidet sich von UTEX 932 durch kürzere Dornen, kleinere Zellen und gelegentliche Aggregatbildung."
