  • Typus: May 1975. Lectotype: Fig. 1 in Adachi & Fukuyo, 1979. Epitype: G. toxicus GTT-91 cell shown in Fig. 1 of Chinain et al. (1999) (Lecto- and Epitype designated by Litaker et al. 2009: 360).
