Holotype: RMCA b2.002-M-0001, adult ♀, skull and body in alcohol.
Type locality: “Sabitonto River (S 10°59’30.5’’, E 24°10’09.3’’), Katanga province, DRC. The locality is situated near Kamau Village (Zambia) on the Zambezi-Congo River watershed on a plain, the Chana Chamuhina, which straddles the DRC–Zambia border. It is located at an altitude of 1308 m.”
