- Formula hybridae: Fuchsia fulgens DC. × Fuchsia magellanica Lam.
Note: Artificial hybrid raised by Mr Prince of Lucombe, Prince and Co, Exeter registered in 1843. Used in breeding and selection of numerous garden cultivars. Paxton misidentified the parents.
