Summary
DescriptionSeaside Amsinckia (A. spectabilis) - Flickr - Pete Tillman.jpg |
These have really come out in the past week or two, now that we've gotten a bit of sun on the coast. Good-size patches near the south end of the Bluff Trail, where these were found, Flowers described as 1/4 to 1/2 in. -- these are at the top end of that. A fine display! Interesting that, at this early stage, the "fiddlenecks" aren't there yet. |
