Ecology: Both the larvae and the adult beetles feed on (usually dry) animal and plant remains and fruits (especially cereals), as well as textiles, wool and dead, dried-up insects, occur mainly in old houses
Location: Germany, Bavaria, Upper Franconia, Kulmbach, Mangersreuth, in the house
