Summary
DescriptionCryptantha fendleri (4387708090).jpg
Although common on sandy soils, this annual expoits other substrates, such as cinder beds and rocky soils and bedrock. This might be Cryptantha torreyana, which is similar in appearance but grows on non-sandy substrates. The lanceolate nutlets (fruits) of this plant, however, are those of C. fendleri, which is common through this part of the Snake River plains.
