Name

Discodermia kellyae Carvalho & Xavier in Carvalho et al., 2020

Type locality: Plato Seamount.

Holotype: MNHN-IP-2008-208 (1993-02-03, Plato Seamount, beam trawl, DW247, 33°14’N, 29°35’W, 580 m, Seamount 2 campaign).

Distribution: only known from its type locality, the Plato Seamountat 580 m depth.
