Holotype: ENEPI 3826 (now ENCB 16096), adult ♀.

Type locality: “near Tepango de Rodriguez, Puebla, Mexico. ... This locality is located at 1500 m elevation in the Sierra Madre Oriental at about 20º00' N, 97º49' W, and is drained by the tributaries of the Río Tecuantepec, which flows into the Río Tecolutla.”
