Dimorphopalpa lyonsae Razowski & Pelz, 2007

Type locality: Ecuador, Pichincha Prov., 2,5 km SE Santa Rosa, Reserva Las Gralarias, 2068 m., 0º0'37"S, 78º43'50"W.

Holotype: VPC. male. GU-3022-V.P. 3-5.XI.2005. leg. Volker Pelz.

Etymology[edit]

The species epithet is a patronym for Dr. Jane Lyons, Mindo, Ecuador. It is defined as a noun in apposition.
