• Type locality: Epibenthos sledge sample from a water depth of 958 metres, RV "Sonne" cruise SO 136 site 1 station 002, Latitude 42º17.99' S, Longitude 170º00.00' E, Challenger Plateau, West of South Island, New Zealand.
