Cyanogaster Mattox et al., 2013

Etymology: The generic name is a combination of cyano, Latinized from the Greek word kúanous (= blue), and gaster, from the Greek gastêr (= stomach), in reference to the conspicuous iridescent blue colour in the abdominal region.
