Name[edit]

Cretalamna gertericorum Siversson et al., 2015

  • Holotype: UM-BET 5; Lower right, posteriorly situated lateroposterior tooth.

Type locality: SECAB quarry, Bettrechies, northern France.

Type horizon: Tourtia de Bettrechies, early Turonian, Late Cretaceous.

Etymology: Named after Gert De Bie and Eric Collier, who collected most of the Cretalamna teeth from the SECAB Quarry, Bettrechies, examined by the authors.
