Chrysogorgia fragilis Xu, Zhan & Xu, 2020

Type locality: Kocebu Guyot in the Magellan Seamount chain with water depths of 1279–1321 m.
Holotype: MBM286351, station FX-Dive 172 (17° 23.64′N, 153°6.07′E), Kocebu Guyot, depth 1321 m, 1 April 2018.
Paratype: MBM286352, station FX-Dive 173 (17°28.12′N, 153°10.07′E), Kocebu Guyot, depth 1279 m, 7 April 2018.
Etymology: The Latin adjective fragilis (fragile) refers to the fragile stem and branches of the species.
