  • Epitype: Strain SAG 55.72 (cryopreserved in liquid nitrogen) in the Sammlung von Algenkulturen, Univ. of Gottingen, Germany, designated in Demchenko et al. (2012: 282). Notes: ITS-2DNA Barcode: Barcode A in Fig. 3 (Demchenko et al. 2012).
