Centroscymnus owstonii Garman, 1906

  • Holotype (unique): MCZ 1037-S [ex Owston #7693].

Type locality: Sagami Bay, Japan.

Etymology: in honor of Alan Owston (1853–1915), businessman, yachtsman and collector of Asian wildlife, who obtained type. (From The ETYFish project)
