- Holotype: USNM 195988, adult ♀, collected by W. C. Sherbrook on 6 October 1966.
- Type locality: “near Km. 184, about 3.3 km (by Tingo María-Pucallpa Rd.) west Fdo (= Funda, a local word for rural property or farm) Nuevo Mundo, Cordillera Azula, Provincia Leoncio Prado, Departamento Huánuco, Perú”.
