- Holotype: ZMB 80472, adult ♂, collected by M. Burger and A.-G. Zassi-Boulou on 5 October 2012.
- Type locality: “Republic of the Congo (RC), Niari Department, along Lekoumou River, about 500 m north of Bandjoko, 02°19′36.4″ S, 12°47′34.9″ E, elevation 634 m, perched on thin-stemmed plant about 30 cm above ground on bank of small river in secondary rainforest”.
