Calliophis bibroni (Jan, 1858)

  • Holotype: MNHN-RA-0.5070, sex indet, collection data unknown.
  • Type locality: “Indes orientales”, restricted to “Western Ghats” by Deepak, Harikrishnan, Vasudevan & Smith (2010: 1).

  • Callophis [sic] bibroniBoulenger, 1890: 386 [subsequent combination, genus misspelling]


  • Elaps cerasinus Beddome, 1864: 179 [synonymised by Boulenger (1890: 386)]
    • Holotype: BMNH 1946.1.17.93 (former, ♀, donated by R.H. Beddome.
    • Type locality: “Manantoddy (Malabar) [=Waynaad district, Kerala]”, India.
