- Holotype: MNRJ 18753, adult ♂, collected by J.Becker and O.Roppa on 6 March 1964.
- Type locality: “BRASIL: MINAS GERAIS: Poços de Caldas (22°47′S, 46°34′W, 1200 m)”.
