Berthasaura leopoldinae Souza, Soares, Weinschütz, Wilner, Lopes, Araújo & Kellner, 2021

Type locality: Brazil, Cruzeiro do Oeste, "Cemitério dos Pterossauros" site, Goio-Erê Formation

Holotype: MNRJ 7821-V

Etymology: named in honor of Maria Leopoldina of Austria, for the Independence of Brazil Bicentennial that would take place the next year [Souza et al., 2021: 2]
