• Holotype: CASIZ 192095, collected by ROV Tiburon from MBARI 941-A1 cruise on 27 January 2006.
• Type locality: “Davidson Seamount off central California, USA; latitude: 35.722787, longitude: -122.722553, depth: 1280 m”.
