Holotype: MBM286430, 22 July 2022.

Type locality: station FXDive 310, Zhenbei Seamount , South China Sea ( 15°03.69′N, 116°33.03′E), depth 407 m

Etymology: The specific name 'nanhaiensis' refers in Chinese to the South China Sea, the type locality of the species.
