• Holotype: SAMC-A098751, collected by R. Payne and I. Malick on R/V Ellen Khuzwayo (Voyage 159) on 31 August 2016.
• Type locality: “Amathole region, 32.9485°S, 28.0577°E – 32.9478°S, 28.0588°E, Eastern Cape, South Africa, 29 m depth”.
