Holotype: BMNH 18.1.1.44, adult ♂.

Type locality: “Leon [= León], Jujuy, 1500 m”, Argentina.

Type locality: “Higuerilla, 2000 m”; Higuerilla = Pampichuela (23°32′S, 65°02′W, 1,735 m, Valle Grande, Jujuy, Argentina; see Pardiñas et al. 2007).
