Type locality. Armenia, Syunik province, Meghri, Gumorantz, 38°59′49.20″N 46°22′35.76″E / 38.9970000°N 46.3766000°E / 38.9970000; 46.3766000, 1516 m.

Holotype: Coll. Lazarev. male, Syunik province, Meghri, Gumorantz, 38°59′49.20″N 46°22′35.76″E / 38.9970000°N 46.3766000°E / 38.9970000; 46.3766000, 1516 m, 30.5.2013, S. Murzin leg.

Distribution. Armenia: Syunik province: Meghri, Gumorantz; Khustup Mt.; Shikahogh; Nor Arajadzor; Svarants; Khndzoresk. Azerbaijan: 16.5 km NW Zangilan; Nakhichevan, Bichenek; Ordubad.

Etymology. The taxon is named after the province of the type locality.
