Acer duplicatoserratum Hayata, J. Coll. Sci. Imp. Univ. Tokyo 30(1): 65 (1911).

• Typus: Taiwan: Taitung Hsien, Nataianchi. June 1902. N.Konishi s.n. (Holotype TI).
• Taxonomic Notes:

1. Although the taxonomy of this species has been reviewed (Chang & Woo 2011), the group is still problematic and requires further study. The authors do not accept any lower ranks within the species.
