Wikispecies:Candidates for speedy deletion

Speedy deletion refers to the process whereby a page is deleted with minimal discussion, and hopefully on sight by an administrator. Because of the nature of this process of immediately deleting a page without community input, speedy deletion should be done with care and by policy as outlined below.

A page can be tagged and deleted for speedy deletion for several reasons.

  • Not using standard taxon formatting
  • Author request / Blank page
  • Copyright violation
  • Nonsense/vandalism page
  • Mistakenly created
  • Talk page of deleted content

For admins: Please monitor Category:Candidates for speedy deletion and clear it out periodically.
