Please accept my apologies. Whilst trying to deal with Orphan Pages, I came across your Isotrema species taxon page creations [https://species.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:LonelyPages&limit=500&offset=1000 here]. At the moment Wikispecies does not accept the proposals by Zhu et al. 2019. Reinstatement of Isotrema, a new generic delimitation of Aristolochia subgen. Siphisia (Aristolochiaceae). Phytotaxa 401(1): 001-023. for a number of taxonomic reasons. I will not go through them all here, but they revolve around the fact that Aristolochia s.l. is monophyletic. Dismantling a well known and accepted monophyletic genus has to done with great care before it will be accepted. Zhu's proposal is phylogenetic in origins and leaves at least 3 clades embedded in Aristolochia, which may now turn out to be paraphyletic. They would have been better advised making their changes under the PhyloCode not ICN. Their proposals could be seen as generic inflation, which is not helpful except in dealing with paraphyletic genera. I could add more.

What to do about the orphans? It is not acceptable at the moment to create a taxon page for Isotrema. They could be moved to their equivalents in Aristolochia, left as orphans or deleted. I will leave them as orphans, but will not stop other editors dealing with them in another way. Any Isotrema sp. nov. described by Chinese botanists will become an Unplaced name or comb. ined. for now.
